OH MY GOD I AM SO DEAD RIGHT NOW. I have spent the past 20 hours doing absolutely nothing but studying and taking my SAT IIs (Mathematics I and Literature). I GOT FOUR HOURS OF SLEEP TODAY AND HAVE EATEN ONLY FIVE CHICKEN NUGGETS AND A PACKAGE OF GOLDFISH. That said, I'm pretty sure I rocked those stupid tests! According to the five million practice tests I took, my scores should be sitting pretty firmly in the 700s (I got a 780 once!! ON BOTH OF THEM. Although, I am pretty sure that was just a freak accident, or something. No sleep plus no food equals SUCCESS?).

Unfortunately, I have the ACT Plus Writing next Saturday, and then my finals the week after that, so I will pretty much not be on the Internet...at all. SO:



I will attempt to keep up with my f-list, but I probably won't be commenting or posting as often. ♥ See you all after the NEXT TWO WEEKS OF HELL are over!

WATCH?

To ring in my birthday, I am posting a picspam of the prettiest movie I have seen in years. Across The Universe is jaw droppingly gorgeous, with an awesome soundtrack, and pretty compelling characters. It took me approximately forever to actually get into Jude and Lucy (they were terribly boring until they started having ~relationship issues~), but once I did, I fell like a rock over a cliff. I never really shook the urge to slap Jude in the face every five minutes, but the film is worth watching if only for Lucy (and you know, THE CINEMATOGRAPHY OF AMAZING), who starts off bland but then becomes lovely and heartbreaking.

This picspam is spoilery for the entire film, but honestly there really isn't much to spoil? THE STORYLINE IS PRETTY GENERIC.

Basically, this is why everyone needs to go see Star Trek (...and I guess there's that Kirk guy). Fic-wise, I'm really only into reading Kirk/Spock, but seriously, Spock/Uhura is my OTP TIMES ABOUT A MILLION.

There's some softer, more melodic stuff in this mix because I feel that while Spike and Dru are, you know, sadistic vampires, they're also a century old couple who carry a bit more human inside themselves than normal. 01. What do you guys think is the appropriate time to wait before posting spoilery fanmix art? Like, spoilers at the huge Character X Is Played By ________ And He Totally Made Out With Y! level.

02. I think I'd like one more person to take a look at my Dollhouse vid (about one third of the way completed)! You don't have to be a vidder yourself, just either caught up with all current episodes (BECAUSE IT WILL GET SPOILERY AS ALL HELL LATER ON) or familiar with the series and lax about spoilers. Mostly, I'm worried that the theme is obvious only to me and no one else will get what the hell is going on. So, yeah! Comment if remotely interested. ♥

So wondygal did the original fic version of this meme, which I had been planning to do for a while, but kept putting off because it is REALLY, REALLY difficult (I still plan to do it! Eventually!). But then I saw a fanvid-inspired variation, and wanted to occupy myself while HIMYM and Gossip Girl download. I - can't imagine anyone will want to read my crazy love-fueled vid rambling, but whatever, I ENJOY TALKING ABOUT THESE THINGS.
